The hardest material:
1.Aggregated Diamond Nanorods(ADNRs,鑽石整體纖管)
德國 University of Bayreuth 一班物理研究人員晌 2005 年整出黎o既。
原理係將球狀o既 Fullerene (由60個carbon組成o既molecule﹐又叫 Bulkyballs)﹐加高壓同高溫 (200倍大氣壓力 + 2500 Kelvin)。 得出既就係一D相連o既 Diamondnanorods﹐呢D立米管直徑係5-20nm﹐長度係 1 micrometer。
呢隻物質既 Isothermal bulk modulus (一個量度硬度既標準) 係 491 GPa﹐而普通鑽石只得 442GPa。 ADNRs o既密度亦比普通o既鑽石密 0.3%﹐亦係暫時人類所知最硬o既o野~!!
