I am wondering if we can revive the old "Imperial Dragon" flag? It seems to me that both flags of PRC and ROC are political-oriented. The Imperial Dragon of Qing Dynasty is undoubtedly to legitimate the emperors as the rulers of China, which is political, while it is also a symbol or a totem for Chinese people and culture too. Therefore, wouldn't it be best that China would either revise their national symbol or flag as well as reviving the monarchy and make it constituational as in Western Europe, Japan and Thailand?
